Krabi Day 2
Day 2 - 03/03/07
We went out for a day trip to Hong island for kayeking and snokeling. We woke up at 7.30am to have our breafast and wait for the bus to pick us up at 8.30am. The bus is so damn small!!!! squeeze us all up with those big size ang mo, lucky the bus driver treat us very good, let us sit inside. We took about 45min-1hr to reach the other end of the krabi beach to take a long tail boat to hong island. When we reach there, we are greeted with blue sky, emerald sea but not so clean beach. Overal, breath-taking!~!~

Everywhere is blue sky, emeral sea, islands, more sky, more sea, more island... beautiful!~! Took us another 30min-45min to hong islang....

After 30-45min of boat ride... we finally reach HONG ISLAND!! The boat left us on the island for awhile for us to swim around, sun tan while they go n fetch the kayaking boats. I have no idea where they store the boat, under the sea?? ke ke
For the 1st half of the island... poor U keep paddling while I'm at the back taking picture... wahhaha. Not only that, I guess we are the kiasu people, throught out the whole time we keep stopping to apply sunblock in the middle of the sea. wahhaha, thats the reason why I did not get any suntan or sun burn. wahhaha
After 2hours of paddling... we finally reach half of the island... thats call for celebration. Yeah!~!

We also went paddle pass the bird's nest cave... we can see poles inside where people climb up to collect the bird's nest. Very high up... in the first place how they climb up to that hole sia... that's what called PRO!~!~
A hole in the rock... beautiful lighting

Us, half way through the island.
After this, we paddle very fast back to the starting point... hungry ah!~~~! Only to find that there is very little food for us.... some veg, fried noodle, chicken wing, rice, not forgetting pinapple and watermelon. As there is so little food... so many of us... and so many big size people... i find it very paisay to have a 2nd helping.
The snokeling part was the miserable part... took us juz a few metre away from Hong island to snokel... the snokeling equipment is badly maintain... regret not bringin mine... so I dare not snokel much... scared breath in all the germs!~!~ eeeeeeeee... the visibility is bad... hardly can see anything... so only manage to stay in the water for about 15min of less and we head to another island to rest for an hour under the sun. Feel abit disappointed as it suppose to be known for clean water... but well should have head to phi phi island... nvm another time ba... after you see the water under... what is above is not interesting any more.
On this island.. there are people living on it.. I think they are those people who collect the bird's nest up at the caves.

Everyone want to take a swing on this... very fun but very giddy...
